Mary EeLynn Wasden

 Mary EeLynn Mouritsen is a lifelong storyteller with a passion for weaving magic, history, and heroines into her tales. 

She’s the co-author of The Ruby Cave series (Fall of 2025), a young adult fantasy-historical adventure she’s crafting alongside her three oldest granddaughters. Together, they bring time travel, pirate queens, and daring heroines to life, blending generations of imagination into every page.

Mary’s creative ventures span genres, from young adult fiction to short tales of bravery on the open seas in Maidens of the Sea, a collection of five-minute stories (Summer 2025). She also shares parenting wisdom in her upcoming book, Bridging the Gap, and keeps the holiday spirit alive with Santa Claus Land, a Christmas tale she published and illustrated from her father’s cherished story, ensuring his legacy lives on for generations to come.

A writer at heart since she could hold a pencil, Mary is finally ready to share her worlds and words with readers of all ages. When she’s not dreaming up her next adventure, she can be found enjoying family time, exploring the great outdoors, or finding creative ways to spread a little extra joy in the world.
